The GLEBE drop-in centre was established in Walsall in 1975. We offer support with living, social skills, and resettlement. We provide hot meals, clothing, advice, and general information. Staff are available to discuss any issue on a 'one-off' basis. We also offer a long term befriending service to those who wish it.
We have a full time Centre Manager, a Full Time Addiction Worker, A Full Time Alcohol Support Worker, Three Support Workers, plus a full time cook and cleaner.
We have many volunteers, some from local churches who help cook and serve breakfasts and lunches. Many churches support us by making donations of money, clothing, and also tinned food . . . i.e. Peas, carrots, soup, rice pudding, fruit etc., this help is very much needed, appreciated, and allows us to continue our important work at the GLEBE Centre.
