The GLEBE drop-in centre was established in Walsall in 1975. We offer support with living, social skills, and resettlement. We provide hot meals, clothing, advice, and general information. Staff are available to discuss any issue on a 'one-off' basis. We also offer a long term befriending service to those who wish it.
We have a full time Centre Manager, Addiction Worker, Support Worker, Addiction Support Worker also a part time cook and cleaner.
We have many volunteers, some from local churches who help cook and serve breakfasts and lunches. Many churches support us by making donations of money, clothing, and also tinned food i.e. Peas, carrots, soup, rice pudding, fruit etc., this help is very much needed, appreciated and allows us to continue our important work at the GLEBE Centre.
From 31st October to 23rd December the GLEBE Centre will be open from 9am until 9pm Monday to Friday and 4pm till 7pm Saturday and Sunday, We will be offering services such as showers, recreational activities, films and will be giving clients a Free Hot Meal and Drink.
