There are 3 airports that are in
central Florida. Orlando International, 30 mintues from the villa, Orlando
Sanford, 65 minutes away, and Tampa Airport which is also 70 minutes
away. There are direct and non-direct flights, which might determine
which airline you want to travel with. Prices for flights vary, so do
check around. There are so many airlines offering good deals on flights
that there seems little point in us recommending one particular company.
Teletext is a good place to try, but you may have to spend half a day
ringing around! We have had good prices from on-line companies such
as Expedia.co.uk
and Dial-A-Flight.com,
but it really does depend on the time of year and availability as to
what price you pay. If you don’t have time to check around for prices,
let us do it for you. |

Car hire is a must in Orlando, as you are at least 15 minutes from the attractions, and the coast is an hours drive away. Take time to select the correct type of vehicle all of which come with air conditioning. As with other tourist destinations, there are many car hire companies based at the airport, but it may be best to arrange car hire in the UK before your holiday, as after a long flight you may not want to start chasing around the airport for the best car hire deal! There are a great deal of companies to try, such as Alamo, Budget, Dollar and Hertz. Some even offer discounts if you book online.
