Photography with a difference . . . . . . . . .

I have been a photographer for over forty years, I first caught the bug when I acquired a 35mmSLR camera and began taking pictures of my family and friends. This developed into a keen interest in taking photographs of people, both formally and candidly, and evolving a unique style and flair for catching that rare moment which once captured can be transformed into a lasting memory.

I am a talented portrait photographer and have also created a unique style of photographing a variety of sporting events, namely club motor racing, golf, and show jumping . I have also been invited to cover many functions such as presentational awards evenings, special birthday celebrations and weddings to capture those candid shots which do not form part of the traditional portfolio of the wedding album. This aspect of my work is really an extension of my interest in people and capturing their differing moods and expressions.

In order to improve my technical skills I undertook formal training and received distinction awards in photography at Sandwell College which is renowned for quality training in all aspects of photography.

Some three years ago I decided to go totally digital and now use the latest state of the art Nikon digital SLR equipment , as a further development I have undertaken extensive training in the use of Photoshop digital software. This knowledge enables me to produce outstanding quality finished work to a very high standard.
