Our Society was 60 years old in 2007, having been founded as long ago as 1947.  It was arranged that as part of the 60 year celebration members and their partners would have lunch on the Severn Valley Railway dining train. Unfortunately the severe flooding of the SVR in June 2007 and the loss of service between Kidderminster and Bridgenorth meant that the Society's lunch had to postponed for over 12 months until October 2008. To see some of the photographs taken (1 year late  !) by members on Sunday 5 October, 2007, please click on the thumbnail on the right.
