Our final Friends and Family Day was held on Sunday 19 March 2017.   A bitter - sweet day. The following photographs show how much our visitors enjoyed the day  . .  especially the children.  However, with the closure of Rugeley Power Station, our railway will not be allowed to operate after 31 March.    So unless it can be saved and re-opened at some time in the future, which at the present time seems unlikely   . . . . . . this will the last day we can welcome visitors on site . . .  The railway has operated on its present site in the grounds of Rugeley Power Station since 1985   Our miniature railway has given countless hours of pleasure to our members, our friends, and families,  power station employees, and the people of Rugeley. . . . . . . . . . .   The End.
