The Rugeley Miniature Railway has been built, maintained, and operated by members of the Rugeley Power Station Society of Model Engineers.  Over the last 35 years our railway has given countless hours of pleasure to the local community, visiting societies, and members. Our railway is recognised as having one of the best multi-gauge ride-on raised level miniature railway tracks in the UK.

Construction work was completed in August 1991 and thanks to the work carried out by dedicated members our track and facilities have been continuously upgraded and improved.  Members have recently installed a new electronic signalling system. 

The Rugeley Power Station has now been demolished and the area is being redeveloped. Our railway is located within a secure area and for the foreseeable future access has to be restricted to members and visitors who have made advance arrangements with us.  Our railway is located next to what will be developed as a recreational area and we are hoping that we will be able to recommence public running.     You may have enjoyed visiting our railway in the past, and hope to be able to welcome you back soon !
